Dirt route from NM-3 to County Rd B26A, Las Vegas, San Miguel County, New Mexico

"100% dirt/gravel. The second half is peppered with ruts and patches of chunky rock and loose sand. Gravel bike do-able. I rode a Surly BC w/ 2.6 Mezcals, GF rode an ECR w/ 2.25 Trail Boss's. The road around Starvation Peak is pretty epic, but involves some fence hopping. Can be ridden as a high grade "adventure' loop linking up with B29A to drop off the mesa and come back through town on the 3, w/ some hike-a-bike and several fence jumps and crawls. Danny, the guy that runs the general store in Villanueva has cheap salty burritos and Topochico's plastic liters. Parking is solid; right on the 3 @ the mouth of B28A. No services/supplies in El Cerrito to my knowledge. "
